Linda reviews Pulsar Vaporizer’s portable APX vaporizer

I think I’ve found my new favorite in Pulsar’s APX vaporizer. This thing is super portable, heats up super fast, ACTUALLY vaporizes without combusting herb, and is ridiculously affordable. I’m seriously just… in awe. All you need is a little bid of herb to get you really medicated – and even after many bowls, this vaporizer doesn’t burn a thing!

This vaporizer also comes with a tank for vaping wax and oil, but unfortunately I didn’t have anything to use for that right now so I’ll have to post an update at a later time to show how that part works – I’m very excited to test that out – but for just dry herb – this thing is flawless.

Most of the vaporizers I’ve tried have been poor performing and combust at higher temperatures. When I say this is the only one that really hasn’t done that over much use, I am dead serious. Of course, there are others I have not tried yet – but right now, for the price, the APX vaporizer is my top pick. Linda reviews a Bio Hazard Standard Straight Tube from SmokeFox

Check out this beautiful 12 inch tube from Bio Hazard glass! This piece arrived from SmokeFox.com – a fantastic site with a nice variety of great glass

This particular pipe is a beautiful short tube with a diffused downstem and an ice catcher above the joint. The bowl size is your standard 14mm and this piece is well worth the price.

Check out my review and then head over here to see more about the piece and all of SmokeFox’s other items: http://bit.ly/1WuX6O1

Linda reviews the Apex portable vaporizer

Hey guys!  I’m back with a review for one of the only truly portable vaporizer styles I’ve seen.  I know there are some others that are similar, but I wanted to review this particular model by request of some viewers.  This is a great portable vape with 3 pre-set heat settings that works very similar to a regular wood-box desktop vape, but totally portable.

I’ve reviewed a lot of portable vaporizers and many are bulky or do not even vaporize cannabis – they burn it. This vaporizer does get a little hot, but doubling up the silicone mouth guard helps fix that. This has three different heat settings, well within the range of vaporization and low enough so that combustion should not happen. I have yet to see any blackened remnants myself! Check out my review and for more info, head to http://www.vapevetstore.com/

Linda reviews DandLco.com’s Oil Rig Bubbler with 5 Arm Percolator

Hey guys! Every once in a while, I find a cool site online that sells items related to what I review that are priced awesome and are good quality. Here I review an awesome, affordable piece from DandLco.com. This is their oil rig bubbler with 5 arm percolator – and it comes with an 18mm adapter, glass nail and dome for less than $40. Or you can add a grade 2 titanium nail for $10 or a domeless for $20. Check them out at http://www.DandLco.com

Also in the vid are Glow in the Dark 2K Diffuser Beads and pure hempseed oil premium body creme from HempLotions.us (which I mentioned might be $10, but is actually around $19 – but SO worth it – it is actually the best lotion I’ve ever used on my hands to get rid of “dishpan hands” after cleaning bongs/pipes or washing dishes. Also, can’t forget the Highly Educated titanium dabber with carb cap – which is $29.99 before discount

Discount, you say? Use code “weedandbombs” to save 10%! 😀

Obama clears the way for banks to work with marijuana industry

In some very awesome news, on Friday, President Obama gave the green light to banks, allowing them to finally do business with legal marijuana sellers.  This is a huge step in legitimizing the burgeoning cannabis industry as well as helping to re-legalize the healing plant.

Until now, most dispensaries and collectives throughout the country have had difficulty trying to find banks to work with them, because of law enforcement issues and conflicts between federal and state law.  Here’s a report from CNN (thanks to Newsthatmatters1 @ YouTube for posting) – where they briefly discuss the new rules for these businesses.

Linda reviews an HBG (Hand Blown Glass) inline bong

I am in love with this beautiful HBG inline bong!  So easy to clean, and packs a real punch!  This is made of thick, high quality glass (I want to say Schott Duran like the other great pieces) – made in America – “CALI CERTIFIED”! 😀   I paid less for this piece as I got a deal, but you can find similar inlines of this brand at local headshops or online for probably around $250.  I take a few big puffs with this, but must say I love using this mostly with my KO Titanium Domeless nail.  Either way, it’s a great piece that is easy to clean and very sturdy and will last you a long time!  That is, if you’re not a bong murderer 😉

The Science and Politics of Marijuana

Here is part one of “The Science and Politics of Marijuana” – part of a series of talks from the MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) 25th Anniversary conference back in 2011.  All 7 parts can be found on YouTube through the video below.  Videos feature Donald Abrams MD, Lyle Craker PhD, Sue Sisley MD, Martin Lee, Clint Werner, Fred Gardner, Amanda Reiman PhD MSW, Dale Gieringer PhD, Debby Goldsberry, & Steph Sherer and is moderated by Allen Hopper JD (ACLU of Northern California).

The discussions you’ll hear in the videos go into detail on the topic of the science and politics of marijuana – what has been researched and discovered, and how politics is affecting the information from being released or used properly.  Over 10 years ago, an important government study was released regarding a few specific patients’ use of marijuana as recommended by their doctors. The Institute of Medicine, a branch of the National Academy of Sciences, issued what was then the most comprehensive analysis of the scientific and medical literature about cannabis, and it stated, “The accumulated data indicate a potential therapeutic value for cannabinoid drugs, particularly for symptoms such as pain relief, control of nausea and vomiting, and appetite stimulation.”  A vast number of doctors and other medical professionals continue to caution about harms that may result from smoking marijuana, though these need to be weighed against the other harms that patients could be facing. In the political realm, the debate over the legal status of medical marijuana continues on.  The videos run about 339 minutes in total – check them out at your leisure!

New York Times Op-Doc – The Fight Over Medical Marijuana

This is an older video from late last year (2012) highlighting the fight that Chris Williams, a medical marijuana grower in Montana, has been battling. At the time this documentary was made, Chris Williams was facing life in prison. As of today, he has been sentenced to 5 years in prison. Part of the atrocity of this case is that a federal judge barred Williams from using his medical marijuana defense.

Teen Marijuana Use Study Shows No Effects On Brain Tissue

In another study conducted on teen marijuana use, evidence shows no physical effects on brain tissue.  This is just one of many studies coming out that have been continuously hacking away at the myths spread over decades by the government’s various anti-drug organizations and task forces.   Although marijuana should not be smoked by teenagers, as it does have some effect on slowing development, it is a much safer substance to use than tobacco or alcohol, both of with are legal and readily available.

Marijuana has quite a history, watch it on this History Channel documentary

Here is “The History of Marijuana” – a documentary as seen on the History Channel.  I am not sure if I’ve posted this already, but this is a fantastic documentary that I’ve watched a few times now – something great to show anyone you know who may not have all of the right information regarding marijuana!

This doc is about an hour and a half long and here on YouTube in its entirety.  I like this one as it features celebrities chiming in, giving a better look into how most people really use marijuana.

Also, for other documentaries and great videos on cannabis and the history of marijuana, feel free to browse through my page as I have tons of videos!
