Hey guys! I’m back with a review for one of the only truly portable vaporizer styles I’ve seen. I know there are some others that are similar, but I wanted to review this particular model by request of some viewers. This is a great portable vape with 3 pre-set heat settings that works very similar to a regular wood-box desktop vape, but totally portable.
I’ve reviewed a lot of portable vaporizers and many are bulky or do not even vaporize cannabis – they burn it. This vaporizer does get a little hot, but doubling up the silicone mouth guard helps fix that. This has three different heat settings, well within the range of vaporization and low enough so that combustion should not happen. I have yet to see any blackened remnants myself! Check out my review and for more info, head to http://www.vapevetstore.com/
Hey guys! Every once in a while, I find a cool site online that sells items related to what I review that are priced awesome and are good quality. Here I review an awesome, affordable piece from DandLco.com. This is their oil rig bubbler with 5 arm percolator – and it comes with an 18mm adapter, glass nail and dome for less than $40. Or you can add a grade 2 titanium nail for $10 or a domeless for $20. Check them out at http://www.DandLco.com
Also in the vid are Glow in the Dark 2K Diffuser Beads and pure hempseed oil premium body creme from HempLotions.us (which I mentioned might be $10, but is actually around $19 – but SO worth it – it is actually the best lotion I’ve ever used on my hands to get rid of “dishpan hands” after cleaning bongs/pipes or washing dishes. Also, can’t forget the Highly Educated titanium dabber with carb cap – which is $29.99 before discount
Discount, you say? Use code “weedandbombs” to save 10%! 😀
In some very awesome news, on Friday, President Obama gave the green light to banks, allowing them to finally do business with legal marijuana sellers. This is a huge step in legitimizing the burgeoning cannabis industry as well as helping to re-legalize the healing plant.
Until now, most dispensaries and collectives throughout the country have had difficulty trying to find banks to work with them, because of law enforcement issues and conflicts between federal and state law. Here’s a report from CNN (thanks to Newsthatmatters1 @ YouTube for posting) – where they briefly discuss the new rules for these businesses.
Residents of Delaware voted to pass medical marijuana legislation and it was signed into law in 2011. The problem is, 2 years later, there are still no dispensaries or any access to medical marijuana for patients. This is a heinous oversight as patients are left having to resort to illegal methods to obtain their medicine.
This is similar to situations in other medical marijuana states, namely New Jersey. In 2010, former governor Corzine signed NJ’s medical marijuana law before Governor Christie took office. It is now 2013 and there have only been a total of TWO permits issued to dispensaries in the entire state of NJ. Clearly, these states need to stop trying to ignore the laws we citizens voted to put into place!
Here is part one of “The Science and Politics of Marijuana” – part of a series of talks from the MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies) 25th Anniversary conference back in 2011. All 7 parts can be found on YouTube through the video below. Videos feature Donald Abrams MD, Lyle Craker PhD, Sue Sisley MD, Martin Lee, Clint Werner, Fred Gardner, Amanda Reiman PhD MSW, Dale Gieringer PhD, Debby Goldsberry, & Steph Sherer and is moderated by Allen Hopper JD (ACLU of Northern California).
The discussions you’ll hear in the videos go into detail on the topic of the science and politics of marijuana – what has been researched and discovered, and how politics is affecting the information from being released or used properly. Over 10 years ago, an important government study was released regarding a few specific patients’ use of marijuana as recommended by their doctors. The Institute of Medicine, a branch of the National Academy of Sciences, issued what was then the most comprehensive analysis of the scientific and medical literature about cannabis, and it stated, “The accumulated data indicate a potential therapeutic value for cannabinoid drugs, particularly for symptoms such as pain relief, control of nausea and vomiting, and appetite stimulation.” A vast number of doctors and other medical professionals continue to caution about harms that may result from smoking marijuana, though these need to be weighed against the other harms that patients could be facing. In the political realm, the debate over the legal status of medical marijuana continues on. The videos run about 339 minutes in total – check them out at your leisure!
Marijuana is now legal in the state of Washington! Here’s a short news clip from CNN from December 6th covering the now legal status of the sadly controversial plant. Washington voters passed legislation that legalized the possession of an ounce of cannabis under state law.
We’ve yet to see how the feds are going to act on this. All we know for sure is that you can possess it – but you can’t buy it – something that will hopefully be worked out soon!
The second video in this post is another CNN news clip covering the multi-billion dollar potential of the cannabis industry once legalized. Precedents are going to be set that will determine the course of marijuana for the rest of history.
The city of Oakland moved last week to prevent federal law enforcement from closing its biggest marijuana dispensary, the largest pushback since an aggressive crackdown on California’s booming pot industry began last year.
Oakland sued U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and San Francisco U.S. Attorney Melinda Haag last Wednesday after the Justice Department attempted to seize the building that houses Harborside Health Center, a medical marijuana dispensary that generates more than $1 million in local tax revenue annually.
Medical marijuana has long been under attack, as many of you already know. State Attorneys in California and other medical marijuana states have launched attacks against many of the state’s largest cannabis dispensaries. Oakland is done with it – their dispensaries provide good money to the city’s economy, and provides safe access to the high number of MMJ patients in the Oakland area. Although this video is from FoxNews, which is not really a news station, it does describe what’s going on.
Thanks to IAMHEMP420 for the video.
I am LOVING my Life Saber Vaporizer. With so many new vapes coming out, it’s clear to see the ones that stand above the rest. The Life Saber Vape is fantastic, versatile, and easy to use. Uses a regular wall outlet, heats up fast and you can use it as a standalone somewhat-portable vaporizer, or even with a tube/bong! The LSV site features many awesome accessories you can use to add onto your medicating experience. The vapor clouds are plenty, and this device really helps you use minimal meds to achieve the best effect.

Check out this FULL LENGTH documentary, A NORML LIFE (2011) – all about the state of medical marijuana in the US today.
From the description: “A NORML LIFE documentary on the current state of medical marijuana in America. Personal stories from patients, doctors and caregivers verify its medical effectiveness while leading activist rally support to end prohibition.
Chris Burry …. associate producer
Peter Darling …. associate producer
Rod Pitman …. executive producer
Doug Ross …. producer
A NORML Life, goes beyond the recitation of facts and figures to capture the beating heart of the legalization movement, in all its passion, its commitment and its excitement.
It’s an extraordinary job by Pitman, producer Doug Ross and a rich cast of cannabis characters including Seattle Hempfest founder Vivian McPeak (who, near the beginning of the show, rightly says America’s marijuana laws are “fixing a problem that never existed,”), and it wastes no time in going for the emotional resonance which is the reason many of us are involved in this movement.
The documentary, which compellingly tells the proud story of advocates fighting for the legalization of marijuana, was released by Cinema Libre Studios on DVD last week. The film presents a strong case that the use of medical marijuana is effective, and that it is a safe alternative to pharmaceutical medicines.
Disclaimer: This documentary and information is for entertainment only. Marijuana laws vary from State to State and Country to Country. In many growing and possessing marijuana is illegal. By no means is this an endorsement to break or violate any laws.”

I’m back with one of the most popular and best performing vaporizers out there – the Silver Surfer Vaporizer! I got mine a few weeks ago and wanted to give it a lot of solo practice before giving you all a review, as I’d previously only tried it a few times. Although this is meant to be used to tobacco or other herbs, I think it is perfect for medical marijuana patients to use as a cannabis vaporizer. Extremely customizable from the graphics to the hose to the baseplate and even the heat cover – it’s hard to not drool over this thing. With great warrantees, extremely durable aluminum housing and a quick-heat ceramic heating element, this vaporizer is definitely among the top vapes out there. Check out more information at http://www.silversurfervap.com
And as always, don’t forget to check out my website for all of my video reviews, medical marijuana news, live chat and more!
